Ministries

Our church’s ministries are the ways we strive to share the message of Jesus Christ, reflect God’s enduring love, support the spiritual development of our congregation, and extend a helping hand to the broader community.

Prayer

Prayer is a fundamental practice and privilege as Christians—speaking directly to our God who listens to us! We believe that gathering together for prayer meetings is not only a way to present our petitions to God but also unites us as a community and is one way we support each other within our church.

Worship service

During Sunday worship service, we reflect on God’s character and goodness through music, lift our needs and those of our neighbours and the world up in prayer, and learn about God through the reading and preaching of his word.

Many of our members then reconnect and fellowship over lunch together!

We welcome you to join us in person @ 201 Tempo Ave for worship every Sunday at 11:15 AM.

Cell groups

In order to fulfill the Great Commission by multiplying disciples of Christ, we have adopted the cell ministry model. Through cell ministry we seek to help people to experience freedom in Christ, to be built up in the faith, and to be equipped to serve others. We seek to live out faith, hope, and love in a community of disciples. Through such community we also seek to be transforming agents in the world.

Sunday school

Dig deeper into the Bible and learn more about what God tells us about Himself, life, and faith. Classes involve smaller groups of people, and there are opportunities for questions and discussions. We’d love for you to join us! Drop by any class, or contact us for more info!

Foodbank

Grace Community Food Share (GCFS) is a non-profit volunteer-based food pantry service initiated by Grace Chinese Gospel Church of North York. GCFS was established in 2012 after years of prayer and a shared desire to serve the local community. GCFS is a non-boundary-based food bank that initially served residents in the Chester Le area and has since expanded to parts of North York, Scarborough, and Markham.
