Youth (Grades 7-12)

Genesis is a community of teenagers in grades 7-12 that meets every Friday from 7:30-9:30PM. Our vision is to be practicing Christian faith through authentic youth community. Our mission is to pursue that by empowering youth to DISCOVER, LIVE, and SHARE a life with God. No matter what kind of person you are, you are invited to join us in discovering, living, and sharing a life with God.

University & College

Our university and college student-aged ministries offer a purpose-driven community committed to exploring faith, discipleship, leadership training, and fostering spiritual growth. Our ministry is designed to equip students with the necessary tools and knowledge to become disciples of Christ, empowering them to live out their faith boldly and make a positive impact on campus and beyond. With a focus on cultivating leadership skills, we provide opportunities for students to develop their talents, discover their calling, and become influential leaders who exemplify Christian values in all aspects of their lives.

Unicol Cell

Our Friday night post-secondary student group provides a space for learning about the bible in large groups, for the purpose of growing in community. We gather weekly to engage in bible studies, ask tough questions, and deepen our understanding of faith. Through fellowship and shared experiences, students connect with peers to navigate their spiritual journeys together.

Rooted Ministry

Through committed discipleship group gatherings, we create a safe and nurturing space to deepen relationships with God and build long-lasting, intentional friendships. These small groups consist of 2-4 students paired with 1-2 adults and allow students to share their walks with Christ daily and learn from mature christians. Each discipleship group is a 4 month (term) commitment at a weekly or bi-weekly frequency.

Adults

The Adult Zone is a collective of small groups that range from working adults that are fresh out of school to a few decades into their careers. Some of our cell groups discuss the most recent Sunday Sermon to support one another in responding to God’s message to us. Others follow a series of materials to address a specific area of life. If you are looking for a community to walk alongside you in your spiritual journey and are out of school, contact Rev. Ted to find a group that is the best fit for you.

Young Career

Our cell is primarily made up of young adults in their early to mid stages of their careers. As we follow the sermon series, our cell nights are meant to discuss the presented biblical truth, reflect on how we can respond faithfully to it in our lives and figure out how to encourage each other to be a true disciple of Jesus. We are currently working towards developing deeper friendships through planned and casual hangouts like grabbing meals, playing board games and other activities with one another. Our hope is that as we become closer, it may enable us to openly wrestle with identifying where Jesus is at work in our workplace and how we can personally join Him.

Our group is very serious about in-depth bible study. We’re either retired or on the verge of retiring. We meet twice a month. We train all members to lead bible study. During the pandemic, we met online. We should resume meeting in person very soon.
